Come to Hyderabad, India, to participate in the International Symposium on Natural Dyes on November 6 - 12, 2006
UNESCO is organizing this symposium to honour and disseminate the knowledge of natural dyes as a sustainable relationship with the ecosystem. Every region in the world has its own techniques and specialized processes which will be demonstrated at the conference.

N estled between tall Redwood trees stands quietly my weaving studio where looms of different sizes are threaded with cones of multicolored yarns.

When I sit at my loom, the world transforms into ancient movements where bobbins of yarns fly back and forth in singing shuttles. Rhythms of trees and wind complete the magic.

Currently everthing is waiting to be reopened.
